Practice
Tooltech has a well established automotive practice, having worked for several years with some of the leading automotive manufacturers and system suppliers in the world. We bring to the table, not only extensive domain knowledge and software expertise, but also proven methods in program management and knowledge management.
Among our portfolio are projects relating to passenger cars, motorbikes, heavy vehicles, tractors and other off-road vehicles, automotive components and sub-systems.
We are a Strategic Offshore Design Partner to BMW AG. Engineering support in design, simulation and analysis is provided through a Mixed Model of onsite personnel, our Development Centre in Munich, skilled resources in Romania and a dedicated centre in Pune, India, under well defined protocols. This delivery is preceded by an intense process of qualification.
Our Automotive Group is headed by Mr. Babu, the former General Manager (Body & Trim Design) at Tata Motors. With over 40 years of experience in the Passenger Car Design segment, he was a key player in the development of vehicles such as the Safari, Indica and Nano from the conceptual stage.
