Tooltech and VTT agreed on cooperation in India

Tooltech Group, which promotes collaboration between Indian and European companies, has signed an agreement with VTT according to which Tooltech will work as the representative of VTT and its innovations in India.
 
The agreement was signed in Helsinki at the Indian Embassy in the presence of H. E. Aladiyan Manickam, the Indian Ambassador to Finland and Estonia. He thanked Tooltech’s significant contribution to “build the bridge between Finland and India for companies and research”. The company has already launched research projects with Universities of Turku and Oulu. The aim is to continue cooperation with the University of Helsinki. The ambassador stated that Dr Alexander Stubb, the Foreign Trade Minister of Finland, is currently visiting India. VTT’s experts are also part of Minister’s delegation in India.
 
Atul Khanna, from Tooltech, said that patience is needed both in India and Finland when starting new initiatives. Tooltech is not a conventional outsourcing vendor but combines Finnish and Indian strengths in a way that creates jobs in both countries, while commercializing innovations and opening access to giant markets. Board members from India, Rohit Watsa and Ravi Sonalkar were also present.
 
On behalf of VTT the agreement was signed by Professor Jouko Suokas, Executive Vice President Business Solutions and Professor Kari Larjava, Executive Vice President R&D. Prof. Suokas says: “Tooltech has been established in Finland for ten years. We find them a competent, systematic, professional and friendly partner. Tooltech is innovative and very well connected, a perfect representative of VTT.”

Mr. V.Ravindra (COO, Tooltech Group) was awarded a Platinum Technology Award for Quality & Best Trade Name ’2010 at a ceremony on 20th Dec,2010 in Geneva by Charles S Tabet (President of the Otherways Management and Consulting (OMAC) ). Tooltech Global Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was presented which acts as a concrete testimony of corporate achievement, recognizing Innovation, Quality & Technology in the Mechanical Engineering Services Industry. 
 
At the same ceremony Tooltech was also conferred in recognition of its efforts to ensure customer delight the Total Quality Management (TQM) Award ‘2010. This recognition serves as an epitome of customer satisfaction by providing a high-quality product, continuous improvement of the quality of the product and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

 
Atul Khanna recieves Finland's prestigious honor Knight, First Class, Order of the Lion.
 
The recognition was awarded by the President of the Republic of Finland, Tarja Halonen, and is based on Mr. Khanna's achievements in promoting collaboration between Finland and India both in the areas of life sciences and engineering.
 
Atul Khanna initiated together with Professor Mart Saarma a student exchange program for biotechnology students between Finland and India. He has created a dynamic and innovative delivery model in which Indian advantages and strengths are combined with Finnish advantages to form a cost competitive research service delivery concept. The award ceremony was held on 2nd June at the University of Helsinki, 
 
The Order of the Lion of Finland was founded on September 11, 1942. The President of Finland wears the Star of the Order of the Lion of Finland and is Grand Master of the order.
 
 Tooltech's Swedish office wins "The Best Foreign Owned Company in Sweden"
 
The "Business Region Göteborg Award" is an annual Christmas tradition conferred to the region's expatriates. The award was received by our Ex Managing Director, on behalf of the Scandinavian team.
The event was held on December 7th, at the City Hall- "Börsen" and saw a participation of about 280 eminent individuals from 41 different countries, the largest ever gathering so far.
 
"Lifetime Achievement Award" conferred on our promoter-director, Mr. Atul Khanna by the Deccan Chambers of Commerce & Agriculture 
 
Mr. Atul Khanna at the age of 39 imbibed German excellence for local markets and exports, which grew to be a leader in its sector. This endeavor won him the Lifetime Achievement Award from the local Chamber of Commerce the Deccan Chamber of Industry and Agriculture.
